Alice Malseed is a theatre-maker, writer and producer.
Alice’s work has a social edge, commenting on the ‘now’ in our communities with fun, poetry, politics and provocation.
Alice is based in Belfast in the North of Ireland.
In 2024, she was part of the ISPD Explore Design Mentorship and the PEN Freedom to Write Programme with the John Hewitt Society.
She has worked as a theatre-maker in London, India, Sri Lanka and across Ireland.
Alice is a member of Vault Artist Studios. She is the owner of a 12 year old whippet called Charlie.
She joined the Lyric New Playwright’s Programme and the BBC Writersroom in 2018.
Alice studied at Goldsmiths, gaining BA Drama and Theatre Arts, and MA Applied Drama (postgraduate scholarship).
